On October 28, 2023, at Clutha Health First, after a determined battle with cancer, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Loved husband of Deidre, father and stepfather of Mark and Lee, Sarah and John, granddad to Elsie, brother and brother-in-law to Margaret and Rob, Anne and Colin, Alister (Australia). Loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Loved friend to many. A service to celebrate Crooksy's life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, in Leishman's Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, at 1.30pm. The family request, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice and these can be left at the service. The service will be livestreamed, and the link will be available on Leishman Funerals website.
