Raymond STROUD Obituary

Peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village on Wednesday, June 4, 2025; aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Annette, loved father and father-in-law of Janine and Wayne Paul, Karin and Bruce Harrington, Michael and Tracy Stroud, much loved grandfather of Rebekah, Grace; Matthew and Rhoda, Ryan, Amy; Kelan*, Aster, and Max, great grandfather of Noah, and Theo. A special heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Special Care Unit at Yvette Williams for their loving care of Ray. Ray wished for a private cremation with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Messages for Ray's family to 44 Erris Street, Cromwell 9310.

Thanks Ray for the many memories and diving experiences we shared together with the Southland Skindiving Club. Our diving trips to Milford sound over Xmas and New year for crayfish. Staying at your crib in Te Anau and the trips away together with the 12 Knights diving group. They were exception times and many a bottle of beer and whiskey was emptied. The memories will live on. Sorry to hear of Ray's passing had some awesome times at Carters ,John edmonds with ray he had a eventful life from the story's he told, so glad I got to work with him a real gentleman rest Easy
