Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Monday, September 23, 2024. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Monica, married for 60 years. Dearly loved father of the late Kieran. Loved eldest son of the late Russell and Lilly Laurie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Joan* and Rangi Rickard, Stanley and Judy Laurie, and Isobel and Maurice Green. Loved son-in-law of the late Nellie and Bill Burke and loved brother-in-law of the Burke family. A Loved uncle and great-uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held in the Waiau Town and Country Club, Tuatapere on Friday, September 27 at 1.30pm. Interment at the Tuatapere Cemetery to follow.
