Ray KENNEDY Obituary
KENNEDY, Ray Robert:
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Monday, January 11, 2021; in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Flora for 64 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Vicky Kennedy, Robyn and Robert Guyton, and Raylene and Alastair Carston. Much loved grandfather of Terry, Adam, Rachael, Glen, Christopher, Hollie and Sophy and their partners. Loved great-grandfather of 11. A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons' Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Thursday, January 14, 2021 beginning at 1.30pm; refreshments to follow. Private cremation afterwards. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance. Messages can be sent to 50 Louisa Street, Invercargill or to Ray's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes

Dear Flora
Our sincere sympathy to you and all your family as you grieve Ray's passing.
It was a special privilege to share on line Ray's Service, hear the tributes and see some of the guests.
We remember with fond memories the time we spent in Invercargill from 1980-1983, how you made us so welcome when we were settling in and hosting us for the many visits we have had to Invercargil since, the latest being Oct 2019.
Sorry we couldnt be there today in person
