Peacefully at home surrounded by family early on Monday, November 24, 2025, after a short illness; aged 85 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Jennifer for over 62 years. Loved and respected father of David and Stephanie, Shona and Stuart Davie, Caralyn and Phil Horne, Trudy and Anthony Burrowes. Doting Pa of 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren (shortly to be 21).

A Service to celebrate Ranald's life will be at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11.00am, followed by an interment in the Timaru Cemetery.
