Raelene FARQUHAR Obituary

Raelene passed peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, following an unexpected and sudden illness at Clutha Health First, aged 67 years. Loving wife for 47 years of Wayne, devoted mother to Trudie. Loved sister, sister-in-law, Aunty and Great-Aunty to Jock, Luke and Ellie, and Mabel, and Hayden; Liz and Raymond, Emma, Bradly and Celine, Blake and Sophie; Sue, Nathan and Selina, Skylah and Reef, Alana and Kent, Bailey and Jaxon; Paul and Tiki, Ben and Caitlin; Glen and Karen, and Jesse. Loved daughter of Jock* and Fay*; daughter in law of Len* and Jessie*. Niece of John and Val Robinson and family; and Clyde*, Anita and family. Adored by Maureen, Stan, Martin, Joanne and Glen, and Tracey. The family wish to acknowledge the tremendous support and compassion shown by all of the staff at Clutha Health First during Raelene's final days. A celebration of Raelene's life will be held at the South Otago Town & Country Club, 1 Yarmouth Street, Balclutha at 2.00pm on Thursday, February 26, 2026, followed by interment at Balclutha Lawn Cemetery.
