Suddenly but peacefully at home on Monday, March 25, 2024. Ages 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Loved father and father-in-law of Jamie and Ngaire, Bradley and Lyn. Loved grandad of Maddie and Sam. Best mate of Dream and Nunu. Phil is a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. A private service for Phil has been held. Margaret - I just saw this, a huge shock. Well did we have fun at NZI not sure we did much work, but Phil was very much in the centre of anything going on.

Margaret and family, so sorry to learn of Phil's passing. I have so many happy memories of working with Phil at NZI many years ago. I remember vividly of his 21st birthday party not long after the Wahini disaster in Wellington. Kindest regards, Sue Thomas (nee Braxton) now in Nelson

some years ago phil,maurice lake and myself travelled by car 2 cup week in chch...we went via the middle ...it was a saturday and nz general election day..phil and me had done early voting,,,not maurice tho,,,we stopeed at burkes pass to get that done...the lovely lady there was not so lovely in having to do a special vote...a guiness book of records situation,,,i think from memory we may have struggled over cup week due to the occassion of the burkes pass fiasco...awesome ....mu sincere condolances to margaret and all the whanau a very good man taken way too soon...RIP PHIL....
