Many fond memories of Horsey from our rugby playing days. Always happy I was in the same team as I wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end of his crash tackles. As for his attacking skills, I can recall a headline in the Taranaki Daily News "Scissors and how they cut", referring to a planned move between Horsey and Shady (Paul Martin) that resulted in many tries for Clifton over the years.
Enjoy the reunion with the boys that have gone before you Horsey (brother Terry, Val Baker, Herbie Kowhai, & John Spanhake plus the coach & management team (Jimpy, Skelly & Jumbo).
Sincere condolences to the family.
RIP my friend.

So sorry to hear of Peter's passing, Carol and he were neighbour's of Mum and Dad's for years. There was a opening through the fence which was much used by both families. He and Dad can have a natter again up in heaven. Much love from the Lockley girls - Jillian, Sharon, Allison and Christine.
