Peter SKERRETT Obituary
Peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Dearly loved and loving husband of Margaret, much loved father and father-in-law of Christian*, Asher and Catherine, Delaney and Keith, Micah, Honor, and Joel, much loved grandfather and great-grandfather of Christian, Angelia, Dominique, Nevaeh, Kaelin, Nathanael, Darcie, and Kora. A loved and dear friend of Margaret's family, and loved friend of Barbara. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ramon* and Emily*, Maureen*, Johnny* and Joan*, Noel* and Theresa*, Lorraine, Eileen* and Chief, Michael and Winsome, much loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. A service for Peter will be held in the ILT Stadium Southland, Surrey Park Road, Invercargill, on Tuesday, December 21, at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Te Hau Mutunga Urapā, 118 Mason Road, Seaward Bush. Alternatively, you can view the service via the livestream provided http://livestream.com/accounts/10730215/events/10012966 In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southand would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A vaccine pass is required to attend this service, please allow time for scanning. To the wonderful staff at Hospice Southland, who cared, honoured, and supported us with such love, compassion, grace and dignity, we can't thank you enough. We are so privileged to have such a service in our community. Special thanks to Nigel Skelt and the team at Stadium Southland, and Gordon Duff and the team at Strawberry Sound.
