Formerly from Kings Bend, Winton. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Peter who passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 89. He was the cherished husband of Laureen, and a devoted father and father-in-law to Lisa and David (Australia), Michelle and Peter (England), Trina and Todd (USA), Andrew and Letitia (Stewart Island). Much loved grandfather to Alex, Sebastian, Ethan, Luke, Bella, and Ryan. Peter was also a beloved brother and brother-in-law to Warwick and Keiko, Wendy and Don, and Carol and Michael* Hardy.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff from Southland Hospital and Southland Hospice who cared for Peter. In lieu of flowers, donations to Southland Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service which will be held to celebrate Peter's life in J Fraser & Son's Chapel, Cnr Esk & Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, April 8 at 11.00am, followed by a private burial. Laureen, and Family I wish to express my Sympathy to you all.
I had the pleasure of working with Peter on the Track around Winton and
planting native trees at Moore's Reserve. He was a very dedicated unsung
worker who did more than his share keeping the area looking great.
Rest in Peace Peter.
