Peacefully at Ascot Care Home on Tuesday 20 March 2018. Dearly loved husband of Robin, best ever father and father-in-law of Leigh Collins and Ian (Rosie) Taylor (UK), Anna and Ross McLean, Richard and Suzanne Jackson (Wanaka), and Katie and Gary Davis, cherished Grandfather of Richard Collins and Jamie and Nico Gourdon (UK), Tyler and Krystal McLean, and Dion McLean and fiancé Charissa Stewart, Barnaby, Edward and Poppy Jackson (Wanaka), Ben and Reuban Davis and a loved "Great-Grandad Pete" of Olivia McLean. Dearly loved brother-in-law of Shirley* and Ray Griffiths (Hamilton), Gay* and Milert* Schmidt (Woodlands), Jill and Owen* Linscott (Thornbury) and much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Pete's life will be held at the Cabbage Tree, Dunns Road, on Sunday 25 March at 1.00pm. Messages to 22 Raeburn Ave, Otatara RD9. Donations to Alzheimer's Society Southland in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
