Its with great sadness that mum and i learn't about Paul's passing. He was truly a wonderful and great man to get to know. I remember when we raced a horse at Timaru about six years ago, we took dad with us, and when he met Paul at the gate that was the end of it they talked for awhile. To the family,please except mum's and myself's deepest condolences

So sad to hear of Paul's passing but know he will be happy to be reunited with Margaret. He never missed finding our spot at the Central Otago Trots and coming to greet all the Harley family. Always a cheery smile and long chat! We missed him this year when Margaret was unwell.

Our condolences to the Gallagher family, Paul was always a pleasure to visit when back home , his smile from ear to ear and his excitement to see you will surely be missed. A beautiful wife a loving family & the Phar Lap raceway you couldn't get a better trifecta than that , just like Phar lap you have run your last race now its time to rest in peace with Margaret once again . Our thoughts are with all the family on the loss of Uncle Paul

So sorry to read of Paul's passing while on holiday in Bali. A real gentleman who I was fortunate to know for over 50 years ! Always enjoyed our banter when I pulled into the float park at Phar Lap ! Deepest sympathy to the family may Paul rest in peace.
