Pauline Trimacco Obituary

Struthers - Pauline J. Trimacco, 95, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. 

Pauline was born August 12, 1929 in Struthers, OH, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Pavlansky) Petruska.

She graduated from Struthers High School and was a lifelong resident of Struthers. 

Pauline worked for Mahoning County Auditor for over 10 years. After marrying her husband, Gene, she became a stay-at-home mom, raising and caring for her children and family. 

She was a member of the Young Democrats of America. She was very active during her father Mike's years in Struthers politics. 

Pauline loved watching football and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She also enjoyed bowling and her bowling league at Camelot Lanes. She was an avid bird watcher and gardener, especially, growing roses. 

Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed cooking for her family on holidays, special occasions and especially her time with the guys during Super Bowl parties She was extremely loving and caring who always made sure family was okay even during her last days while at home in the care of Harmony Hospice. 

Pauline is survived by her two sons, Gene S. (Karen) Trimacco Jr. of Lowellville, Paul "Jeff" Trimacco Sr. of Struthers; five grandchildren, Gina Marie Trimacco of Lowellville, Steven Trimacco of Columbiana, Paul "PJ" (Jen) Trimacco Jr. of Campbell, Eve (Larry) Russell of Struthers, and Heather (Jay) Sobinovsky of Struthers; nine great-grandchildren, Samuel Trimacco, Kyle Trimacco, Elijah Trimacco, Josiah Trimacco, Paisley Russell, Savanna Russell, Levi Russell, Kara Sobinovsky and Annie Sobinovsky; a brother, Jack Petruska of Canfield; two sisters, Margie Klovis of Struthers and Mary Lou Zoldak of Columbus, OH; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Petruska of Poland; and brother-in-law, Nick Vitullo of Boardman. 

Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Gene Stephen Trimacco, Sr., whom she married on June 21, 1955 and died on December 19, 2021; a daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Trimacco; a brother, Robert Petruska; a sister-in-law, Marie Vitullo; and two brothers-in-law, Frank Klovis, and Bernie Zoldak.

Per Pauline's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. 

Arrangements are being handled by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring Street in Struthers.
