RIP Paul. Condolences to Johann and family. I carry many good memories, both from work and socialising, of Paul from our fire service days in the Invercargill Brigade. A good man taken too soon. Farewell brother. Jim Prentice. Gold Coast, Aus.

I had the fortune to serve with Paul when I was a member of the Bluff and Invercargill Volunteer Fire Brigades. Paul was also my locking partner in the Brigade Rugby Team. Many fond memories. My thoughts are with you all at this time.

I had the privilege to serve with Paul in the Invercargill Fire Brigade. He was a great mentor to me and I will never forget his wisdom, kindness and a smile that lit up a room. Rest easy brother. My deepest condolences Johann and family. I´m unable to attend Paul´s service but he is in my thoughts as you fare him well on his next journey. Des Hosie - Wellington.
