Yesterday

My deepest sympathies to all Pats family. She spoke often about each and everyone of you. Pat was so kind to myself and Kevin as we both did quite a few stints in hospital. She was always there bringing baking and meals and offering to do housework and other things to help out. And laterly when our daughter passed, she was there to talk and share stories with. I will miss her dearly. All our love Lynda and Kevin

Dearest Mrs McBreen,

I have the fondest memories of you teaching me at St Gerard´s School many moons ago.

Your love of teaching always shone through your enthusiasm, kindness, and sense of fun. One of my most treasured memories is your love of hockey, I cherished the special connection we had through our shared passion. It meant so much to me that you always took an interest in how my weekend games went.

I also have fond memories of your visits to our dear neighbour, Linda Scott.

You will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Rest in peace, Mrs McBreen.

94 years. Died peacefully in Cromwell on Friday, April 10, 2026. A dearly loved and cherished older sister who nurtured us all. Survived by her siblings Tom Gibson, Anne Gibson and Helen Gibson. Predeceased by her parents Pat and Jim Gibson, her husband Bill McBreen and son Johnny McBreen: also her siblings Katherine Gibson, Sister Helena OP, Mary Gibson Collings and her husbands John Keenen; Neil Collings, Tom's wife Joy Gibson; Simon Gibson; Cecilia Mackenzie née Gibson and Cecilia's grandson Cameron Jones. Trish was a treasured aunt to all her nieces and nephews in whom she took a keen interest. Trish lived with enthusiasm and joy, always finding the positive in everything. We will miss her cheerfulness and genuine interest in people. Trish was always a loving presence who we will remember and hold dear.
