Owen WINEFIELD Obituary
On Monday, April 24, 2023 (too soon), at his home. Dearly loved lifelong partner and husband of Vanessa for 45 years, son of the late Ethel and Bruce, devoted and greatly loved father of Rachelle, Karla, the late Ryan, Matt, and much-loved Grandad of Violet. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Yvonne and Alan, the late Neil and Ginny, much loved son-in-law of Sylvia and the late Graeme Donaldson, and brother-in-law of Stirling and Cindy, and the late Carson. A service for Owen will be held in St Margaret's Presbyterian Church, Frankton, on Monday, May 1, at 11.00am. Livestream available at www.southernlakesfunerals.co.nz, private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations for Hospice Southland (future Yuliett Crescent Care Facility) may be left at the service. Messages to 40 Stewart Street, Frankton, Queenstown 9300.

Owen was one of the genuine good guys, a devoted family man and friend. Always with a smile or some cheeky remark he would turn up to help even before you knew you needed it. A lovely man he will be missed by many.
