SHAW, Norman William:
It is with great sadness to inform our Normie passed away suddenly on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Dunedin, aged 77 years. Adored, loving husband and soulmate of Sheila (nee Lawrie), much loved Dad to Jason and Jonelle; Melanie; Sonya; Craig and Jane. Forever loving, cherished, fun and proud Granddad, Grandpop and Normie to Kayla; Chloe and Talia; Becky, Peter, Baylee, Bentley and Riley Spencer; Tyler and Allie De Clifford and the 3 rascals Conrad, Alfie and Wyatt. Loved son-in-law of Jessie Lawrie. As per Normie's wishes a private family cremation was held in Dunedin. He has left a huge hole in each and everyones hearts.

Hello Sheila. I have just found this obit and wanted to add a comment.
I have fond memories of my time working with Norman at the S. Times and our numerous golf matches through those years. We both parted ways with the paper at the same time and I was hopeful that Norm had found a niche, as I did, to keep him active. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on his passing.

We are so sorry to read of Normies passing. Was lovely to catch up with you both on the street in Richmond about a year or so ago, after many years of not seeing you.
