So sorry to hear about Norhayati's passing. A great mother, wife and friendly neighbour. She will be remembered from our times living at Clawton Street. Sending our condolences to the family during these sad times.

Norhayati was a good neighbour when i used to live in Clawton street. I would always retrieve the ball when it used to go out onto the road and that was when i met Norhayati and the family. A beautiful princess taken away so early. Condolences to the family as well. Rest in peace Norhayati.

Stunned to read Norhayati has died. She was an amazing colleague, supportive and kind and genuinely a good person. I can only offer condolences to her family, which seem inadequate - she was truly a lovely, lovely person.

Condolences on the loss of your beautiful wife, Mum, Oma, and friend. Hayati was an inspiration to me, and we enjoyed many conversations over the years. She was always interested in my children and what they were up to, and had a great memory too. From Montessori days til now, Hayati was kind, inclusive and a role model to us all. Rest In Peace xx

Hayati had a passion for teaching. She was one of the most prepared teachers I know. No student was left behind in Hayati's class. Student's were cared about to strive for more than they thought they were capable. Detail for Hayati was part of her nature. Her contribution to Young Enterprise at Hawera High School was valued and allowed students to be themselves and develop to their strengths. I often think back to our conversations about achievement and fondly remember her beautifully displayed classrooms always welcoming to students. Hayati's learning of Te Reo and her fluency was beautiful.

My love and condolences to the family. I will never forget the impact Ms Abdullah had on me as a student at Hawera High School only a handful of years ago. From sticking around to help with science display boards after school, to the interesting conversations that we had, as well as imploring to always give things a go. Rest in Peace and Love

A special lady that went above and beyond for her students, wanting them to suceed. I will always appreciate the time that she gave me.

I first met Hayati through my work. A year or two later her eldest son Adam became a friend of my eldest son, Robbie and a few years later Amin and my youngest son Brad became friends. Hayati was a lovely woman and whenever we met she was always interested in what my sons were up to. Her family was everything to her, she was so proud of them all. Our thoughts are with you all.

You impacted my life as a teacher, but also as the kind soul who made a difference. You gave us beautiful memories and life lessons that no one else could. You gave us the ability to see out side the square and look at the world through different eyes, most importantly you gave us kindness, love and your time, Thank you Ms Abdullah. Condolences to your beautiful family, may your memories and love carry you through these times.

Ms Abdullah was one of my favorite teachers. She renewed my live of learning by recognizing my potential early and encouraging me.
Sending love to her family at this time, I hope she knew ehat an amazing impact she had on her students at Manukorihi Intermediate in the 90s. A wonderful lady. Xx

To Hayati Family. My sincere condolences to you all. I first met Hayati when our children were swimming at carnivals and Tarananaki swimming champs and when she joined the staff at Hawera High School and then caught up with Admad when he joined the staff at Hawera High School. Thinking of you all.

Hayati was a very knowledgeable and capable tutor for us at Kip McGrath. We missed when she left to further her teaching in Schools.
