KING, Nola Marjorie:
Born in Invercargill on November 30, 1926. Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village on December 7, 2022. Aged 96. Dearly loved wife of Russell King*. Loved daughter of Henry* and Elizabeth* Jackson. Sister of Alan* Jackson. Beloved mother of Peter, Graham*, David*, Carol, Alister, Neville, Jenny, and Raewyn. Nana and old Nana to 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank so many people but no more so than Linda for her care and support for Nola over the last several years. Thank you to her dear friends and staff at Rowena Jackson for the kindness and compassion they showed towards Nola over her time there. My sincere sympathy on the passing of Nola, a dear life long friend of our late mum Etta Byres. I remember Nola with fondness as she was such a special and lovely lady. I was so happy to see her a few years back when she popped into our shop in Windsor. I am sure that she has left a massive gap in your family but how special for you all to have her for so long. What an amazing legacy and wonderful memories she has left you with.
