My condolences go out to Jill and her family. Noel will always be the happy whistler to me, good memories from decades ago when he owned a Supermarket in Invercargill. So sad for your loss.

To Ian, Faye and the wider Brinsdon family, on half of Lodge Winton 108, please accept our deepest condolences and sympathies on the passing of Noel. Noel was one of life's true gentleman: loyal, honest, dedicated, dependable and always willing to lend a hand when needed. These attributes attributed to Noel achieving one of the highest honours in Freemasonry, the rank of RH (Roll of Honour). He also served as a mason for over 50 years, which is a no mean achievement on its own. Will be missed by all who knew him.

So sad to hear of Noel's passing. He was a great friend to mum and dad (Marj and Johnny Stephens) and an amazing woodworker. Dad and Noel spent many happy hours at the woodworker's Guild and I'm lucky to have some of Noel's work as well as Dad's. A great friend who will be sadly missed. Condolences from the Stephens Family.

Sincere Condolences on the loss of your precious Noel. As a child growing up I remember going to Kings foodmarket in Tay St with my parents to get Dutch treats. His whistling could be heard throughout the store. A cheeky man of cheerful disposition. He was a good friend to many and will be sorely missed.
