Ngaire Winifred Jane:
24.3.1936 - 21.4.2021
Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Timaru Hospital after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Much loved and valued mum and nana of John and Karen, Em, and Joshua; Janice and Martin Mehrtens, John and Anna, William and Emma, Lucy and Darcy, and the late Jane; Russell and Edel, Liam, and Finn. Much loved great-nana of her 7 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Alf, Ross (dec) and Pam, and Averil. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Loved member of the extended Walker family in the UK. Special thanks to all involved with Ngaire's care. A service to celebrate Ngaire's life will be held at the Knox Church, Shearman Street, Waimate, on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 1.00pm. Flowers respectfully declined but donations to St John Ambulance Waimate would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service.
