Neville BRINSDON Obituary
Suddenly but peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Dearly loved husband of Lynne (for nearly 50 years). Dearly loved Dad, father in-law and Grandad of Michelle and Marty, Finn, and Emma McArthur; Craig and Julia, Stella, and Harriet; Aaron and Leanne, and Bailey. Dearly loved son of Gordon* and Daphne*, brother, brother in-law of Ken and Barbara, Barbara* and Cliff McCauley, loved uncle and great-uncle. A private family service will be held. The family wish to thank Dr Robert Bester, St John Ambulance, NZ Fire Service and the staff at Southland Hospital for all their care of Neville and his family. Neville & I were only 17 when we first met. We trained together, worked together, flatted together & played the fool together. We courted our wives together, stood together at our weddings and celebrated our children together. In time Ann & I moved away but get togethers always had a warmth of family. We are sad that we could not be with you today but our thoughts & prayers are with you our special friends.

Mr B - a legend at the SBHS Coldstream Hostel, always showed so much care for the boys but was also always one step ahead of them. Remember Mellow Yellow - his wee car that would pop up round town. A good man. Warmest thoughts to Lynne and the family.
