Neil COLLIE Obituary

22.08.1950-24.11.2023 Lyn, Jared, Kirsten, Bridget, and families would like to thank everyone who attended Neil's farewell on November 29, 2023, and also those who visited, made phone calls, and kindly sent food, flowers, cards and messages – your support has been truly humbling, and much appreciated at this sad time. Our thanks also to Ross Thomson from J Fraser & Sons for his patience and helpful guidance throughout this difficult time, and to Sally Tily whom we cannot thank enough for giving us the strength and confidence to give Neil the farewell he deserved. Martin and the Donovan team at Rowena Jackson were just getting to know Neil before his passing but made him feel happy and comfortable in his new surroundings, and for this we thank you all. Christine and Joyce from Gaius Cottage have been with Neil and Lyn since 2018; they are our family, and truly amazing women who we gratefully thank for their support over the years. Please accept this message as a personal acknowledgement of thanks to you all from our family.

Lyn, I am thinking of you all at this sad time. Hold tight to all your memories of such a loved and respected gentleman. My fond memories are of a very loving couple who had an active social life. I loved babysitting at your place in Kauana.
