I grew up on Remarkables Station and always remember Murray and Karen - wholesome, genuine, honest. Love and support to Karen and the girls, and fond memories of Murray x

Murry was a very genial bloke...always let me have access to his land for whatever activity i wanted to do.....a very sad occassion...RIP Murry...

So sorry to hear we have lost Scotty - a good mate and one of nature´s gentlemen; a beautiful soul. Scotty, I thought we would get to see you again, after such an ordeal. From our 1st meeting in 1973, at Lincoln College, till the last time I saw you when you & Karen , & Picton family, called in to see us in Blenheim, you have allways been part of our thoughts. Especially remembered for Robin's 21st, & our shared birthdays in the early days. We have just seen the notice, so very sadly can't make it to the funeral, where I know there will be so many stories from so many people.

So very sad, thinking of you all. Scotty was a great mate to my brother Mark (Temp) who passed away last year. Scotty was the only person I know who could sleep standing up in the middle of a party! No doubt there'll be some stories to tell. A lovely man.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

The smile and the twinkly eyes, will never be forgotten...as he hovered around as we talked and mucked about with our art in the kitchen....the bond between you two was palpable as you caught each others eyes...that can never be lost....Murray was a true treasure and his spirit will forever be up in the hills ...much love from Mags, Tony and Terry.
