Murray BLACK Obituary

I met Murray around 40 years ago in Wiltshire in England in his shearing days. I remember his kindness, humour and his willingness to help. A real down-to-earth Kiwi! My condolences to all his friends and family.

Having visited Zimbabwe, and parts of Africa he called home, we know how he loved it there and his many adventures and experiences he has given many people. Muzza was and will remain an icon of Africa. A spade was a spade, he was a constant and there was no one better to have on your side. HIs dry humour caught me out on many occasions and then nothing was too much trouble if help was needed. Hand on heart, he will be missed by so many. Fly high Muzza. Learning that Murray had died in Harare must have been devastating and will be difficult to come to terms with. He sure had an amazing life, something to be grateful for.

Oh Lynley, we caught up recently and spoke of Murray and your time over there. We read this notice with a very heavy heart.
