Muriel USSHER Obituary
Muriel Ellen (Malcolm):
Passed away peacefully at Vickery Court Invercargill, surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 21, 2021; in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late Jeff, cherished mother of May, Heather and Mike, Stuart, Judy and Gordon, Lynley and Bruce and Ian and Megan. Adored Nana of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all those who shared her life. Daughter of the late Ernie and Nell Malcolm, sister of Alistair* and Val, and Gladys and Wilson*. Thanks to the staff at Vickery Court for their exceptional care. Due to COVID restrictions a private family service will be held. Messages to 229 Chelmsford Street, Invercargill 9810.

Great memories of working with Muriel at Lumsden Maternity hospital. I still use many of her recipes. She was the heart of the unit. A caring lady who will be remembered by many for her friendly caring nature. Regards, Yvonne

My thoughts are with you all at this time. Muriel was a lovely woman. I had great respect for her honesty. She said it how it was and I loved that. She was a fabulous baker/cook and when I seen her a couple months ago she showed me her recipe book she'd started and her knitting.
She will be dearly missed but will always be remembered.
