Millie M. Huth, 99, of Lake Hallie, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Chippewa Manor.

On March 11, 1926, Millie was born to William and Annie (Rykal) Martinek in the town of Goetz, Chippewa County, WI. She graduated from Cadott High School with the class of 1944. Millie was united in marriage to Julius Huth on February 16, 1957. Millie enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, cooking for her family, especially potato dumplings and pork steak. She was a very kind and loving mother, grandmother and wife that will be missed by all who knew her. She was kindly called "Grandma Millie" by the little ones she babysat way before becoming a biological grandma.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Sharon (Dave) LeDuc of Chippewa Falls and Janice (Emery) Schindler of Chippewa Falls; son, David Martinek of Eau Claire. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Ryan LeDuc, Alison LeDuc, Collin (Abby) Schindler, Cole (Amanda) Schindler; great-grandchildren, Jordy and Jemma Schindler; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius; and five siblings.

The visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church, 733 Woodward Ave., Chippewa Falls with a visit one hour prior to the service at church. Rev. Mark Newmann will be officiating. The interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie.
