Mike CAMPBELL Obituary
Suddenly in Kuwait, April 29, 2023, (ex Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment Lieutenant Y1002868 2/1 Battalion, Burnham, Returned Veteran). Much loved father of Eli, cherished and adored brother to Monique, much loved son of Judith and Alec, true and best friend to Ms Dona Al Najar and Mr Imad Hayat of Kuwait City. We give our very grateful thanks to Imad for his wonderful and unflagging support enabling Mike to be brought home. We give our grateful thanks to Mike's friends and colleagues at "Inspire" in Kuwait City. Above all we thank Monique Campbell and Nathan Jones for their outstanding courage, commitment and perseverance travelling to Kuwait to bring Mike home. A service to farewell Mike will be held in Affinity Funeral Home, 143 A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, at 1.30pm, on Thursday, May 11, followed by a private family cremation. My sincere condolences and aroha to Mike's whanau I've only just heard this devastating news. Mike was a my PT for about 6 years, many years ago. He was my confidant and my friend. I've always valued the time we spent together in the gym and loved catching up with him on his visits home. I treasure everything he did to help me to get to optimal fitness so Clive's and my IVF journey was successful. When I look at out now 19 yo I'm so grateful to Mike for his help in fine tuning me for success. Rest peacefully Mike you deserve happiness xx

Had the pleasure of being a friend and colleague of Mike at the Al Corniche Club in Kuwait. He was one of the most respected Personal Trainers I knew in my time there. He will be sadly missed by many and my thoughts are with his loved ones. Rest in Peace Mike
