Michael Frederick:
Passed away peacefully in Dunedin Hospital after a brief illness, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Loved husband of Robyn for 52 years, cherished father of Ryan*, and Rebecca and father-in-law of Gareth, and proud "Cartie" to George. Loved brother of Sharon and brother-in-law of Alastair Macdonald and brother-in-law of Diane and Peter Quigley. Michael's family would like to express their thanks to the medical staff who cared for him over the last few weeks. Your kindness was appreciated. A Memorial service for Michael will be held at Whitestone Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2.00pm. Messages to 45A Awamoa Road, Oamaru 9400.

To Robyn, Sharon & families. I was saddened to hear the death of Michael and will be thinking of you at the memorial service in Oamaru on Thursday. It's now more than 60 years since I taught Michael at Ranfurly DHS and I thought you would like this photo from school bus days ( Michael is at the back (centre).
