So hard to believe. Thoughts, prayers and love to all the family. Michael will have touched so many lives through his life... words, actions, motivations and beliefs. Gone too soon, but what a lot packed into a life. Love you all xxx

Incredibly sad news. I played cricket for many years with Mike at both my home club Hertford CC and also for the Haileybury Hermits CC. He was a superb bowler. We had many a laugh on and off the pitch, as Mike was always ready with a joke. All round terrific guy and will be sorely missed.

I had the privilege to play rugby with and become very good friends with Mike during his time at Tunbridge Wells RFC, UK. He was a legend on the pitch and a true gent off the pitch. We are all very stunned and saddened by his passing and he will be sorely missed. It was an absolute pleasure knowing him. RIP my friend.X
