Murray CROCKER Obituary

On June 8, 2024, the big band in the sky gained a new drummer. Murray Alister Crocker, 94, died peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital, with his much loved wife and soulmate Fran by his side. Murray was a cherished and adored husband to Fran, a loved and loving father and father-in-law of Nettie and Stu, Chris and the late Maurice, Daryl, Sha and Sean, and Phil. He was a treasured Grandad and Great-Grandad to his 12 grandchildren and their partners, and 11 great-grandchildren, and loved stepdad to Clinton, Claire and Sergey, Dean and Katrina, and loved Pops to his six step-grandchildren. Finally pain free and keeping the beat in another sphere, he will be fondly remembered and never forgotten. In accordance with Murray's wishes a private cremation has been held.
