Maxine Gail:
Peacefully in the loving care of Ascot Care Home and on her 73rd birthday, Tuesday, 22 December 2015. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Garry and Jason, Vanessa and Wayne and Brent and Toni. Loved Nana of Dean, Jake, and Lauren and friend of Peter. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Barry and Judy (Australia) and a loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Maxine's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Wednesday, 30 December, at 9.30am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. Messages to 381 Bay Road, RD 9, Invercargill 9879.

I also know Maxine through marching. Maxine was my first instructor when I joined Cresta Gaurds midget team. And all the contact I had with her,over several years, was all through marching. She was a very good instructor and a lovely lady to be around. RIP Maxine and Arohnui to her family. Sue Clark (McMurdo) xxx
