Maureen Elizabeth:
Passed away peacefully at Redcliffe Hospital, (Queensland Australia) on Friday, July 15, 2022, three days short of her 80th Birthday. Dearly loved wife and best friend to Don Kennedy for 61 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law to Peter and Cindy Kennedy (Invercargill), Tim and Lorelle Kennedy (Queensland), Michael and Karen Kennedy (Perth), Brian and Leanne Kennedy (Queensland), and Tony and Glenda Kennedy (Invercargill). Loved daughter of Harry* and Mary Roff*, sister of Graeme* and Barbara Roff, Bernadine, Ian* and Allan Alexander, loved Nana, Great-Nana, Aunty and friend to many. A memorial service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held at the Invercargill Workingmans Club East Lounge, on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2.00pm. Messages to 36 Ross Street, Invercargill.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family on the passing of Aunty Maureen, I have fond memories of growing up in Cargill Street Waikiwi, going whitebaiting out to Waki in Aunty Maureen's wee Morris Van with Mum (Hana) and Michael and I in the back. I also remember Aunty Maureen was president of the Maori Womens Welfare League until they moved to Australia. Thinking of you all at this sad time xoxo
