Matthew FLOWERS Obituary

Matthew was the funniest person I´d ever met. We were such close friends many years ago and I still think about him a lot. You had such an amazing life ahead of you, I´m so sorry it felt like the only way. Rest in peace Matt.

I am truly devastated by Matthew's death.

I do not profess to know him deeply, however, I was often taken by his open and kind spirit in our brief interactions. He alternated between a quasi masculine persona, and a person who was open, generous and interested in life and opportunity. I really enjoyed his company.

I used to see him in the gym here in Brisbane and we connected through a mutual friend. I found that he had a playful humour and banter, but was also aware of a complexity just below the surface.

I am so very sorry for the loss and pain for his family. This is a tragedy. I will remember him. Vale Matthew Flowers.

Flowers, I will always remember your amazing vibe and effortless ability ensure those around you were smiling or more often than not laughing.
Thank you for the great times we shared and for adding value to the lives of all that met you in your own special way.
You may be gone, but will always live on in the hearts and minds of those who held you dear.

RIP Flowers, till we meet again.

Brother I can't believe you're gone. Your wit and generosity was one of kind.
Words can't explain how grateful I am to have met and shared your company as a flat mate.
Those full belly laughs we shared in that time have never left my memory and never will.

Extremely sad news to hear.
Over the past 1 1/2 of working at Grosvenor Village he would always ask if could get into a certain block & he'd bring us a box of chocolates without fail. His kindness & cheekiness will be missed. Condolences to his entire family.
