Funeral Services for Cortez resident Mary L. Tsosie will be held on September 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Ertel Funeral Home in Cortez, Colorado.

Mary was born on March 22,1950, in To` chi Ni lii, Arizona. She passed away in Shiprock, New Mexico at Northern Navajo Medical Center.

Surviving Mary are her children, Lee C. Tsosie of Cortez, CO. LeAndrea Yazzie (Kee) of Cortez, CO. Corrina Draper of Cortez, CO. her grandchildren

LeKean Yazzie, LeKeesin Yazzie, Calla House, and Josiah Sherwood. Her sibling Wendell Williams of Sweetwater, AZ.

Mary was preceded in death by her spouse Lee C. Tsosie, and her sons Lemuel Tsosie and Lewellyn Tsosie as well as her mother Melissa Williams.
