Mary MCALISTER Obituary
McALISTER, Mary Imelda (nee Burke):
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Calvary Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in her 86th year. Much loved wife of the late Kevin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Janine and Jonathan Major (Sawbridgeworth, UK), James Glenn (Jimmy) and Mel McAlister, and the late Lisa (Invercargill), Grant McAlister and Peggy Zhen (Wellington), and the late Timothy McAlister. Loved Nana Bangles of Cameron McAlister and Benjamin Major. Mary was a dearly loved sister, sister in law and Aunty. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Calvary Hospital for their devoted care of Mary over the past 12 years.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Basilica, 65 Tyne Street, Invercargill on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10.30am. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow. Messages to 156 Duke Street, Invercargill or to Mary's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes
