I loved Nan deeply, and I will miss her more than words can properly express. She wasn´t just my grandmother - she was like a second mother to me, especially during those years when I came to live with her as a slightly rebellious teenager. She gave me stability, patience, and love when I needed it most, and that´s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Distance made visiting difficult over the years, but I am so grateful we had the chance to spend time with her for her 90th birthday. It meant a lot to me that she got to meet my wife and children - that connection across generations is something I´ll always cherish.

One of my favourite memories will always be her calling early on my birthdays, to sing me "Happy Birthday." She had such a beautiful voice and such a love for singing - it was simple, but it meant everything.

She leaves behind so many memories filled with warmth, kindness, and love. I feel incredibly lucky to have had her in my life.
