Sister Mary Anna OP:
Peacefully, in the loving care of the Cedar Unit staff at St Andrews Rest Home, Dunedin on June 6, 2023. Dearly loved Sister of the New Zealand Dominican Sisters, in the 58th year of her Religious Profession. Loved daughter of William* and Mollie* Baird, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Bill* and Kelly, Philip* and Aileen, Annie Small*, Stephen and Marg*, treasured aunt of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr Marie Neylon, Dr Joel Papak and all the staff at Ward 7A Dunedin Public Hospital for their care of Mary Anna. Requiem Mass for Mary Anna will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basilica, Macandrew Road, Dunedin, on Monday, June 12, at 11.00am. Light refreshments will follow at the Church before interment at Green Park Cemetery. A Vigil Liturgy will be held in the Mercy Chapel Macandrew Road, Dunedin, on Sunday, June 11, at 3.30pm. So saddened to hear of Mary Anna´s passing. She was such a beautiful lady. Loved meeting her when she was in Ireland and again met her in Arrowtown when I was in New Zealand. Thanks for all the memories . Rest in peace Mary Anna.

So sorry to read of Sister Mary Anna´s passing. She was an integral part of the Arrowtown community. Always ready to listen to people from all walks of life.
