Martin TE AU Obituary

75 years of a life well lived.

Kei reira e tatari ana to whaea, to matua, ōu matua tupuna
Ka puāwai ki reira
Nō reira moe atu, okioki atu, wairua atu
E kore rawa mātou e wareware
Haere, haere, haere atu rā

A beautiful, kind and gentleman with a great sense of humour and a warm ready smile each time I saw you.

Such a warm personality. I will miss your lovely chats when you come into our office. Your love for your family, your students you transported, the outdoors and our mutual home grounds "Southland" a few of the many topics we chatted about.

Your students and driver collegues will miss you greatly as will myself and the CCR office colleagues.

Condolences to your whanau.
RIP Marty

Marty, you drove our wee squirrel Lily-Mae, to and from school for 4 beautiful years. Her health these past 2 years hasn´t been the best and you always enquired after her and sent her (and us) well wishes and aroha. She loved your smiles and enthusiasm for working with the extra needs children. You were always so happy to see her, you loved passing on messages from her teachers about her day, and you were an important person in her team of carers. She loves school, and you being a part of her school day was always cause for smiles and excitement from her. Scott and I always felt Lily was in very safe hands on her school journey and we will be forever grateful to you for that xx Marty, you were a big part of our journey and now you are on your next one to a better place xx please know how much we loved and appreciated you and your caring ways xx you will be very much missed by us and many others! Thank you for being such a beautiful soul and may you rest well, surrounded by those who have gone before you, and rest in love xxx with sincere condolences and love to your whanau xxx Steph, Scott and Lily-Mae Spensley xxx
