Martin CHALMERS Obituary

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy, loved father and father-in-law of Murray and Rebecca, Stephen and Rachael, Christine and Andy, Craig and Philippa, as well as loved Grandad to Charis, Nathanael, Indie, Shaun, Annalise, Blake, Tim, Katie, Emma, Maddison and Gianna. A thank you to the staff from Hospice Invercargill for their support, as well as the manager and staff at Vickery Court. A celebration of Martin's life was held on Monday, October 13.

Dorothy and Family please accept my condolence on the recent Death of Martin.
I first worked with Martin in Palmerston North then again for many years in Balclutha. For a number of years we joined with other men in an interchurch men's prayer group which met regularly here in Balclutha. May he rest in the Prescence and the light of Jesus Christ whom he loved so dearly. God Bless you all
