Marjory Lorraine (Lorraine):
Peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, surrounded by family, aged 71 years. Much loved and adored wife of David. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Rebekah, Glenn and Ismay, Paul and Victoria, Dean and Keri, Stefan and Anne. Much loved nana of Claudia, Luke, Ryan, Will, Tom, Pete, Lara, Indi, Makayla, and Kyla. Loved sister of Heather and Bob. A service to celebrate Lorraine's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Monday, December 13 at 2.00pm. A vaccine pass will be required to attend the service. Lorraine and I were school friends at Mataura and GHS. I had heard that she was unwell and am so sad to read of her death this past week. To David and family, know that Lorraine has left behind many wonderful memories for others to enjoy. She was a kind and caring person who embraced others and always made them feel welcome. May she be singing with the angels now, just as we sang in the Junior Choir together many years ago. Love to you all.
