HAMPTON, Pearl Jean (nee Thompson), (Pearl Hampton Insurance Ltd.) : Peacefully at PRHC on Monday, December 24, 2018 in her 74th year. Pearl, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Hampton (d. 2016). Dear sister of Jim (Betty), Carl (Helen), George (Mary Lou), Lloyd (Carol), Al (Theresa), Marion Thaxter (Dave), Lorna Krugel (Andy d.2005), Velma Maunder (d. 1977) and sister-in-law of Ruth Humber (Al), and Stanley Hampton (Marie). Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Lorne Thompson (1998) and Vera Jewell Thompson (1998). Thank you to Pearl's caregivers and visitors while at home, in the Cancer Care Clinic and most recently the Palliative Department. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LAKELAND FUNERAL CENTRE , 19 Moose Road Lindsay, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm with visitation from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm followed by a Service in the Lakeland Chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery. In memory of Pearl, donations to PRHC Cancer Care Radiation Centre/Palliative Department would be appreciated by the family.
