Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday, June 13, 2025. Dearly loved husband of Denise. Loved son of Giacomo* and Maria*, loved brother of Guido, and Donata and Stefano Barei. Loved son-in-law of Frank* and Mary* McGearty, loved brother-in-law of the McGearty, and Trower families, a much loved uncle. A service to celebrate Mario's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, June 18, at 1.00pm, private interment to follow. You are invited to join the service via livestream by going to the Avenal Park website obituaries page and clicking on the link on Mario's page. (*denotes deceased.)
