Marie MAWHINNEY Obituary
MAWHINNEY, Marie Aileen:Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Much loved and loving wife of Kerry, and loving and cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to John, Tammie, Mark and Clare, Laurence and Katie, Bridget, Ben and Tilly and Max and Sonny. Marie will be at home until her funeral service at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday, September 1. Private cremation to follow. Tributes may be left on Marie's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where a live stream of the service will also be available.

So sad to read of Maries passing.
I have such lovely memories of working with her at Elm Court and NASC.
Also going to her home for a cuppa or staff social occasions.
Such a beautiful person to work with.
Now you will be pain free RIP.

Sadly we can't make the funeral but just wanted you to know how much we loved our times together with Marie and Kerry and our visits everytime we came to Invercargill. Marie will be sorely missed as the anchor of the Mawhinney family and all their incredible outdoor adventures and love of nature.
