Margaret THOMSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully in the loving care at Hospice Southland on Thursday, June 19, 2025, aged 88 years. Loved soulmate of the late Alan. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Grant, Sandra and Fraser McKenzie. A much loved Grandma and Great-Grandmother to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Ngarie Barugh. Dearly loved favourite aunt to all her nephews and nieces.

A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Monday, June 30, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for the Hospice Southland. Messages to 12 Birdsong Rise, Wanaka 9382, or to Margaret's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where there is a livestream link to the service.

Very sad & shocked to see the passing of Margaret. Seems only weeks ago we crossed paths in In/gll. Margaret was a most enchanting & personable lady and both her & Alan had quite an influence on my boyhood as 'delivery boy' in their Wyndham Butcher shop in mid '60's.
