Margaret LATTY Obituary

Peacefully in Parata Rest Home on Monday, November 17, 2025, aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Rob; loved Mum and mother-in-law of Mike and Joanna (Christchurch), Jeff (Gore), Pru and *Raymond Finn (Richmond); loved Nana Margaret of her 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of *Shirley and *Bruce Dawson, *Isobel and Gordon McIntyre, Ian and Ngaire Finnie, Graeme and Hillary Finnie, *Dennis and *Val Latty, Pam and *Graham Harvey, and treasured Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. As per Margaret's wishes, a private service and cremation has been held. Special thanks to the staff at Parata Rest Home for their wonderful care of Margaret, and heartfelt thanks to Joyce Soper, Margaret's special friend. Thinking of you all at this time. She was such a lovely lady, I remember her when growing up in North Gore and going to school with you all at Gore Main. Caught up again with Margaret over last couple years playing ukelele at Parata. May your good memories be of comfort to you.
