Margaret KIRKBRIGHT Obituary

Sadly, but peacefully passed away, surrounded by her children, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, aged 97 years. Loved wife of the late Robert (Bob). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Derek, Adele and David, and Ross. Loving Nanny and Nana of Celeste, Richard, James, Myles, Roy, and Louise. Loving Great-Nan of Phoenix. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Monday, March 2 at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation. You are invited to view the service via livestream, by visiting the Avenal Park website and clicking the link on Margaret's obituary page. We remember Margaret and Bob well and are sorry to hear she has passed on. She always had a ready laugh and was a very capable person. I remember attending a lovely birthday party she put on for Adele as a child. May she rest in peace reunited with Bob again. Alan and Lynne Hunt (Lynne Ferguson)
