Margaret KATON Obituary

Sadly on Monday, September 15, 2025, after a courageous battle. Loved wife of the late Angus. Loving and caring Mum, mother-in-law, Nana and Great-Nana of Carina and Stu, Jess and Luc; Dean and Shirley, Bradley and Casey, Ashlea, Meihana, Mikaere and Aliyah; Justine, Michael, Jayden and Tarryn. Thank you to everyone who has supported Mum, especially her friends, Cromwell Medical Centre, Dr Blair McLaren, Dunedin Oncology, Christchurch Women's Hospital, Dunstan Oncology and District Nurses and more recently the caring staff on the Vincent Ward at Dunstan Hospital. As per Marg's wishes, a private cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation NZ, reference Marg, would be gratefully appreciated. So sad to see Margaret has passed away after such a courageous battle.
We became friends back in the sixties during the Teretonga days and then
the classic car trips all over the South Island and also Australia.Our sincere sympathies to all the family.
