Died peacefully at Clare House, Invercargill, on Monday, January 29, 2024, aged 93 years. Very much loved only child of Johannes and Lena Verboom. Dearly loved wife of the late Lane. Dearly loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Ronnie and Judy, David and Brenda (Dunedin), Patricia and Rex Chapman and Gillian and David Bowie. Dearly loved Nana and Oma of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At Mattie's request a private service will be held. The Family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff from the Perriam Wing at Clare House for their exceptional care of Mattie and Dr Ewan Adam for has excellent care and compassion he has shown Mum and Dad over many years.
