STAITE, Lola Florence
(nee Instone):
Died peacefully on December 28, 2022 in Southland Hospital, aged 89 years. Dearly loved mother of Arnold and mother-in-law of Alison and Susanne. Mother of the late Lana, the late Tessa and the late Celina and mother-in-law of the late Harvey Lusby, Stephen Caunter and Andy Smerdon. Loving and dearly loved grandmother of all her grandchildren and their partners: Chris Staite and Marcia Castilho, Kathryn State, Marie and Callum McDougall, Sam and Pia Staite, the late Aidan Lusby and Rebecca Bedwell, the late Shae Lusby and Clare Manders, Alana Caunter, Logan Caunter, Dylan Smerdon and Jacinta McLennan. Loving great-grandmother of Cooper, Ethan, Taylah, Carter, Leni, Ted, Oscar, and the late Carly Staite. Loved sister of the late Ralph Instone of Oamaru (married to the late Mary Instone) and the late Cyril Instone (married to the late Hazel Instone), Wyndham. Loved Aunt of Diane, the late Judith, John, Pauline, Christeen, Suzanne, David, Joan, Robyn and their partners. A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11.00am at J Frasers and Sons, cnr Doon and Esk Streets, Invercargill. Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.
